Friday July 29

 The end of another week!

One of the guests this week wrote a poem that sums up the week.

Camp Rocks

Waterslide, pool and canoeing fun

We worship God cause camp

rocks

we say HALLELUJAH praise the

Lord

As we say goodbye we have

everlasting memories

Wednesday July 27

 
What a great day!

Revival is wrapping up now and its time to reflect on the day we had.

Starting with scrambled eggs and bacon, we had an awesome power and praise before heading into Bible Study and craft time!

After lunch, everyone dove (or edged. or cannon balled. or belly flopped) into the pool. Afterward we had a fantastic time playing with googly goop and playdough. After supper and a bit of colouring, revival started. With some  amazing worship and a thought-provoking skit, its time to head to bed to prepare for another day here at Camp Shalom!

Tuesday July 26

 Yet another day here at Camp Shalom!

We started our day with a great french toast breakfast. After power and praise , everyone decorated cookies (a snack for tomorrow perhaps)

After lunch we made a photo frame craft for out cabin photos and then everyone headed over to the watrfall for a fun, wet time.

After supper was staff paint, where staff and volunteers alike were painted by the guests in many different colours.

After a quick wash up, a fun dance party was had in Centre Hall. Baskstreet Boys and Glee dominated the speakers as everyone grooved, and bopped and had a grand old time.

Now, after campfire and a message from Pastor Stan, it is time for bed.

Monday July 25

Another new day!

Man! Today was a blast!

After a filling breakfast, we had Power and Praise and Bible Study.

Followed by canoeing, Guests  teamed up with counsellors and support staff to venture out into the pond.

You can see some of the fun times in the water in our photos!

After lunch guests alternated between the spash pad and a fun bingo game.

After a healthy fish supper, Staff Show began, Starting with the Party Quirks Game, filled with lots of dancing and tons of fun costumes,

this show was a hit with guests and staff alike.

Now after a healthy round of campfire songs, and a wonderful message from Pastor Stan its time to hit the hay!

Sunday July 24

Its the start of a new week! It is the second Special Support  week, and the staff and guests are very excited for this new week.

The new week started with registration and the guests went to their cabins to meet their counsellors. Aftera very special introduction to the rest of the staff and the camp rules, everyone headed over to the campfire for some songs and a message from this weeks chaplain Stan Seagren

This week we have 67 campers (plus Spec Trek and Disc).
