The end of another week! This week has been a blast! From the staff show to canoeing, there was always things to do.
Today we had freshly made cinnamon buns and muffins for breakfast. Yummy! After a pizza lunch and some lovely brownies, campers made their way home. \We hope you had a great week and hope to see you next year!
Many blessings :)
Thursday,July 14
As we speak, campers are playing the popular camp game KJ KJ (a Shalom take on Capture the Flag).
Today started with french toast and scrambled eggs. After power and praise, campers headed to their interest group. After lunch (Grilled cheese and chicken noodle mmm, mmm) campers spent time at the pool, at the waterslide and playing fun games around camp. After our meatball supper, campers moved into KJKJ. Tonight is fun night! All around camp, campers are having spa nights, watching movies and just plain having a good time.
Tomorrow is deregistration, and the end of another week.
God bless and good night!

As the campers find their way back to their cabins after revival, let's take a minute to reflect on the day.
Beginning the day with scrambled eggs and bacon, counsellors continued to encourage their campers to drink water, even though, thank goodness, the humidity went way, way down today. The weather was nice today as we made our way from breakfast to Cabin clean up. Congrats Cabin 3 on winning first place at cabin clean up today. After a BBQ lunch, filled with more then the usual share of fun songs, the afternoon was filled with bible study, ultimate cabin, and for the muchies, fort making time. After a delicious pork chop supper, cabin time took place in the pool, at the trampolines, at the basketball courts and at the water slide.
Revival took up most of the evening. RevTrev gave a great sermon on the cross. Tonight, Christ Candle will be taking place in the cabins.
God bless and good night!
Tuesday,July 12
Second full day of camp here at Camp Shalom! The day started with a very full polar bear swim. Brrr! After some hearty pancakes an sausages, everyone went back to their cabins for an amazing snow themed cabin clean-up. The winners get ultimate cabin points! Its been really humid out here at camp, so out activites are more water themed then usual. Some people spent time at the water slide during cabin time, or at the pool.Remember to stay watered in this head. Think like a plant and soak up all the moisture you can!
See you on the flip side!
