Thursday July 15th

The last full day of camp for this week is winding down. It was a great day featuring a visit from a firetruck for the munchkins, and a camp wide game of KJKJ, an involved team game. Here at camp we're looking forward to tomorrow, but will be very sad to see all our campers go!

Today's Highlights: Bagels for breakfast; an acoustic Power and Praise; Interest groups; a firetruck visit for the Munchies; Subs for lunch; Ultimate cabin games (tug of war); Bible study; Tuck and free time; Camp Fried Chicken for supper; Cabin time; KJKJ; Mini talent show; Campfire; Bed.

A lot of great activities went on today and campers had a blast. Tomorrow our Trek group returns from their canoe trip, and the Discipleship 201ers return from their trip to Toronto on Saturday. We look forward to hearing more from them about their trips! Check out pictures from today here

Wednesday July 14th

It's the end of an incredible day at camp. Wednesday is the day of our 'Revival' service. A time of refreshing, commitment, worship and remembrance of God and all that he has done for us. This year it is based on the story of the Ragman, which you can read here. It was an amazing time and God was felt here today!

Today's Highlights: French toast for breakfast; Cabin clean up; Power and Praise; BBQ for lunch; Ultimate cabin game (build an egg dropper!); Tuck and Free Time; Spaghetti for supper; Revival Service; Christ Candle - a time of reflection and sharing between campers and their counsellors; Bed time.

During the revival service many campers made a commitment to God, either for the first time or as a refresher. It was amazing to staff and campers alike walk through a gate, symbolizing Jesus. See pictures from today's activities here.

Tuesday July 13th

It was another fun day at Camp Shalom, with a load of fun activities. It was the day of our adventure camp big game, and it went extremely well! Thankfully the rain clouds passed by and kept us cool, while not sending any rain.

Today's Highlights: Egg McShaloms for Breakfast; Power and Praise; Interest Groups; Grilled Cheese for Lunch; Ultimate Cabin Games (Dodgeball!); Bible Study and Time Alone With God (TAWG); Tuck and Free time; Craft time for Munchies; Dutch Sausages for Supper; Cabin time and a camp picture; Capture the Flag and Campfire!

Staff and campers participated in a huge game of capture the flag. Campers would hide their flag somewhere on their side, and the other team would have to find it and bring it back to their own side without being tagged. It was competitive and very fun! Check out cabin pictures, a camp-wide pictures and more pictures from today's activities here

Monday July 12th

Today was an absolutely jam packed day with munchies, trek and adventure campers running different programs. After a few changed plans due to rain, the day proceeded as normal, but still never missed a beat! It's the end of another great day, and everyone is excited for the start of tomorrow.

Today's Highlights: Sausages and pancakes for breakfast; Power and Praise; Various Games and Crafts for Adventure Campers and Munchies; Pizza for lunch; Bible Study; Pool time for Munchies; Tuck and Free Time; Canoeing for Munchies; Tacos for Supper; Staff Paint for Munchies; Interest Groups; Staff Show; Campfire!

Campers really enjoyed a time of all camp games. While simple, the games were a blast! Check out pictures from today here
